Suhailley
Pourier will be leaving TCB to return to school in the Netherlands.
During her tenure at TCB she wore many hats. Among them was the
production of the Entre Nous, Coordinating Regatta, working with
the statistics, overseeing the web site content, the E & D
project, etc. Most of all, she was always willing to pitch in
on any task and worked to see many reach completion.

sponsored by travel agencies and corporations. Such destinations as
Barbados, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao
were there. Caribbean 2002, with the same organizers of Avavit, was very successful in their first event, which made our delegation very pleased to have participated.
Discover Bonaire was held on July 12th at the prestigious Foro XXI in Caracas. This year it was sponsored by Dutch Caribbean Airlines, Alamo Car Rental, Divi Flamingo, Eden Beach and the BHG represented by Allan Goméz from Plaza Resort. This event has an outstanding reputation where travel agents after registering, receive a Bonaire brochure's bag (sponsored by BHG group) and enjoy a coffee break before breaking in to groups to attend seminars in a workshop setting. The seminars are two hours and familiarize travel agents with Bonaire, their properties, the air operation of Dutch Caribbean and other services in the island as well as giving them skills in order to feel confident in the promotion and sale of the destination. At the end of this event, the participants received a diploma that certifies them as Bonaire sales agents. I would like to thank all the sponsors for making this event successful and contributing to the tourism industry by informing their travel agents.
