From March 21 -23, 2015, Bonaire participated in the 3rd Annual Cartagena Boat Show, for the first time. The Bonaire booth was located in the scuba diving area, which also included booths from PADI, well-known scuba diving manufacturers and scuba diving centers from Colombia and Venezuela. Over the course of the three-day show, attendees visited the Bonaire Booth to learn more about the dive product, and hotel specials offered on island. The Cartagena Boat Show is a consumer show that attracts over 5,000 attendees. Bonaire is planning on exhibiting again in the scuba diving section at the 2016 Cartagena Boat Show.
