The cruise season 2013-14 has been going extremely well, we currently just passed the half way of the season and the general feeling is very positive. TCB would like to thank all the operators, Taxi drivers and our private sector for
providing our Cruise passengers with an excellent customer service and experience. The organization at the port and the relaxed approach of our island is being greatly enjoyed.
During the month of January a small delegation from Bonaire attended the PAMAC Cruise which is an event exclusive to FCCA Platinum Members and the Cruise Lines Executives to develop businesses, cultivate ideas and establish working relationship with some of the most prominent figures and decision makers throughout the industry. During this event the Bonaire delegation had several meetings with various Cruise Lines Executives maintaining current relations whilst exploring the possibility to add new calls with Lines not currently calling to Bonaire.
Continuing this process a Bonaire delegation headed by the Director of Tourism, Ethsel Pieternella will attend Cruise Shipping Miami where more meetings and conversations will be conducted to further develop Bonaire’s Cruise Market.
